Blue Sky Utility is a unique renewable energy project developer. We develop, finance, own and operate renewable energy projects, mainly in the C&I space; in particular, we are providing cost saving solutions for commercial real estate landlords and tenants. At Blue Sky Utility we combine our extensive engineering knowledge with our financial structuring expertise to create custom solutions, providing tenants and landlords with programs that are both environmentally sustainable and value accretive, while also creating a better tomorrow for our children.
We are looking for a development engineer to join our company.
Our ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of renewable energy systems including solar PV, BESS, hybrid systems and smart grid solutions. The Solar Development Engineer will support our design team with Energy simulation and design of the renewable energy generators.
This is a junior level role with room for growth.
Requirements
- Interest in renewable energy systems
- Basic understanding of Solar PV technology and the electrical grid
- Some knowledge of NEC, National Electric Safety Code, and other IEEE Standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer skills, specifically including MS Excel
- Proficient with AutoCAD, Helioscope, PV Syst, CRMs, PMSs, GIS, Interconnection

The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
