Tenders and Contracts Manager


Job Description:

The Tenders and Contracts Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end process of managing tenders, proposals, and contracts. This includes leading the preparation and publication of tenders for equipment suppliers and contractors, negotiating and finalizing contracts, and ensuring compliance with the company's standards regarding commercial, legal, technical and financial issues.


  • Tracking and identifying potential opportunities by means of contacting suppliers, contractors (RFP) and other sources.
  • Conducting thorough market research and analysis to understand industry trends and competition.
  • Preparing tenders for equipment suppliers and contractors.
  • Contract Negotiation and Management - negotiating terms and conditions ensuring contracts are in compliance with company's standards. 
  • Working closely with legal, engineering and finance teams to review and finalize contracts.
  • Budgeting and Pricing- collaborating with finance and pricing teams to develop accurate and competitive cost estimates, ensuring pricing strategies that align with the company's financial goals.
  • Reporting and Analysis- providing regular reports on tender and contract activities to management. Analyzing performance metrics and suggesting improvements for future tenders and contracts.


  • Bachelor's degree in business, law, or a related field (Master's degree is preferable).
  • Proven experience in tender and contract management, with a focus on successful outcomes.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to contracts.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Project management skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific tendering processes.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for tender and contract management.
